Welcome to the vibrant world of Arden Restaurant, a culinary gem nestled in the heart of West Hollywood at 8289 Santa Monica Blvd. This enchanting venue specializes in New American cuisine, merging the traditional with the contemporary, all while placing a strong emphasis on a delightful brunch and a superb cocktail experience. As the sun sets, Arden transforms into a stylish cocktail bar where the ambiance is as much a part of the dining experience as the food itself.
Stepping inside Arden, you are instantly captivated by its stunning floral decor, which offers an Instagrammable backdrop perfect for celebratory gatherings or a chic dinner date. The aesthetic draws in a youthful, fashionable crowd eager to enjoy a meal as visually appealing as it is delicious. Patrons can immerse themselves in the balmy atmosphere while sipping creatively crafted cocktails that promise an adventure of flavors.
When it comes to the menu, Arden does not disappoint. The starters are a revelation, with highlights like Wagyu Beef Meatballs, drizzled with braised tomato and sprinkled with burrata for a creamy finish. For seafood lovers, the Charred Octopus paired with Romesco is a must-try, perfectly complemented by its citrusy undertones. The Lobster Mac & Cheese offers an indulgent twist on a classic comfort food, featuring a rich blend of gruyère and fontina, yet some diners have noted that it could benefit from a more generous serving of lobster—an adjustment that is currently being considered by the kitchen.
While the menu shines in its creativity, several diners note that portion sizes can be on the smaller side for the pricing, inviting thoughtful contemplation for those seeking to indulge. The culinary journey doesn't stop at starters; entrees like the Branzino and Filet Steak showcase Arden's dedication to high-quality ingredients and precise execution. The steak stands out, tender and cooked to perfection, served alongside a crispy bowl of truffle fries that elevate the entire meal.
As for dessert, Arden offers a selection that invites a sweet conclusion to your dining experience, though opinions vary on their execution. Signature desserts like the Flourless Chocolate Cake promise to satisfy any chocolate lover's cravings, and the inventive sundae crafted with croissant pieces and Nutella offers a delightful twist on a traditional dessert.
Overall, Arden Restaurant delivers a dining experience that successfully marries the allure of stunning decor with a menu that pushes the boundaries of flavor. It's a destination for those celebrating special occasions or simply seeking to enjoy a chic night out. While the price point may provoke consideration, the enchanting ambiance and quality of dishes create an evening worth savoring. So slip into your finest attire, grab your friends, and head to Arden—where each visit is sure to be as picturesque as it is palatable.

Arden is the newish high end restaurant designed from snout to tail to serve the young, boojie Instagram set looking for pretty pictures over quality dining, and by that I mostly mean young women in their twenties enjoy it for its ambiance and carefully designed decor featuring more pretty flowers than you can ever imagine. The nice surprise, however, is that the food is quite good too, albeit at a premium. The girl I dined with is positively girlish (or girlie?) and loved the flowers everywhere and having a reason to dress up. We got a nice seat and brought our drinks over from the bar. Ordering, we started with a Caesar salad that hardly tasted like what I know to expect and like of Caesar salads. Translation? The lettuce was fine but there was positively no anchovy in the dressing and it tasted sort of citrusy to me. No bueno. Next was another miss for me but just by a hair. The positively UN-cheesy lobster macaroni and cheese was tasty, what with its loose sauce and the tiniest of lobster pieces here or there, and only trace elements of the fontina and gruyére cheese promised in the description. When asked why the dish was this way, the kind waiter Javier suggested the kitchen shifted all the dishes to accommodate the feedback they got initially from their clientele - again, like 80% young women, perhaps more concerned about their figures than the waistline busting out due to comfort dishes - as they put in requests for less cheese than what was originally in the prepped and served dish. Go figure. The filet steak entree and branzino entrees do not disappoint. The steak at a pricey $60 was on the smallish side but prepared per my date's instruction for medium and was served with a tasty bowl of truffle fries. The bordelaise dipping sauce was a let down flavor-wise but that's a minor point. The fish was beautifully set up, two perfectly prepared filets, skin on, atop a tasty slaw and green sauce with capers that really complimented it after first being hit with lemon. I'd return for this fish alone ($38). Finally, the desserts. My guava coulis topped pana cotta was stiffer than I prefer and nothing to write home about. My date's sundae fashioned out of vanilla ice cream, Nutella, and warmed cut croissant pieces pleased the lady more than it did me but it was good. All in, with tax and a 20% tip, the meal came to around $370. Overall, I'd think hard about whether or not Arden was right for you before venturing there, but if you want a nice meal and to watch the giggly cute Instagram posse do their thing and only if you are willing to pay a premium for the experience or pleasure? I'd say Arden is worth your time... if not the money. PS We ate brunch here the day before and really liked the Arden French Omelette and their version of a breakfast burrito!

Ambiance: the whole reason why we came! It's gorgeous! Inside and out...you are in a beautiful flower-draped venue. From the cute centerpieces to the vintage style plates. Everything is cute. Service: good. No snotty nosed or cranky server here, but he was a little awkward . Food: food was just ok. Definitely overpriced and itty bitty...but you're paying for the ambiance . Drinks on the other hand were worth the almost $20 per pop. We tried the Taste Liek Strawberry, I'll Have another, almost paradise mocktail, The bear, and i can't remember the last one....hahaha too much to drink. All were on point with the ratios. They have something for everyone...bitter, sweet, big kicker...I'd order them all.

Celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday ... Yay!!! My daughter made the reservation. We arrived 15 minutes early and Wow they sat us in. What a great start!!! The place isn't busy but as the minutes passed by, customers kept coming in. It was around 7:20 ish when it was really full. The place is bursting with (fake) flowers hanging all around. Making the place feel like you're deported into some kind of another dimension. Love the music playing on the background. Giving a lively vibe and atmosphere. I just didn't like how the tables are situated though. No privacy. They are too close to each other. The next table can hear what you're talking about. Our server is lovely with a good attitude. Smiling most of the time and kept on checking on us. We enjoyed the food that we ordered and took home some. Although I find the food pricey on the side and some are not shareable. All recommended though. These are the food that we ordered. Truffle Tagliatelle ($42) - scrumptious, small portion, not shareable Organic Roasted Jidori Half Chicken ($32) - savory, well - seasoned, shareable Mashed Potatoes ($12) - tasty, very small, Lobster Mac & Cheese ($30) - rich, shareable Truffle French Fries ($17) - yummy, shareable Cocktail Rosalind ($18) - not for me Dessert Flourless Chocolate Cake ($16) - you can't go wrong with a chocolate cake, it's delicious A good place for a date night or unwinding with some friends. I would come back but not anytime soon. The prices made a hole in my pocket. lol

Went here for our anniversary a few days ago. I was amazed with all the flowers all over the restaurant, including bathrooms. The foods were amazing and amazing staffs. Food came out very quickly, except for dessert. We ordered a few things off of the menu and everything came in perfect. 9/10 for the lobster Mac and cheese, one point off for too little lobster meat for a bowl of like $30 8/10 for tomahawk, portion way too small for $150. 10/10 for carpaccio. I would recommend if you have a special occasion, once in awhile kind of thing. It is very expensive for small portion.

This is a great place to come and celebrate with your friends!!! The ambiance is an attraction from the Arden Restaurant signs, to the plants, and well placed flowers all over. It's super cute and pretty Service was awesome as well! They were super busy but the wait staff was still on point Food was so yummy!!! We absolutely loved the truffle pizza, definitely try this. We also ordered the : -brussel sprouts salad : pretty good -roasted brussel sprouts : love this -truffle fries : so yums -chicken : is ok -risotto : is comfy food -cauliflower: yums Check it out!

Pros: The restaurant boasts beautiful decor and a warm, friendly staff. You can choose between a cozy indoor dining experience or a relaxing outdoor patio. The food is both delicious and satisfying, with several vegan options available. The music adds to the pleasant atmosphere. Cons: Street parking is paid, and there are a few stairs leading to the restaurant without a ramp. However, there are patio areas at the entrance. For a more comfortable experience during the summer, the patio could benefit from additional sun cover or fans. Overall, it was perfect for a Summer Saturday Brunch in LA.

Loved the food and ambience. Flowers are so cute!! Thank you Charlie for making reservations for us!!
